For access to NDIS funding to for transport services, they must be deemed reasonable and necessary. This means the NDIA will only fund transport services if they are needed to help you achieve your NDIS goals. In addition, consideration needs to be made in respect of what is reasonable for families, carers and the community to provide.
The NDIA will assess your NDIS Plan to see if you are eligible for funding for transport services. This includes looking at:

Your family and carer circumstances
The community you live in, and the opportunities and resources available to you
