Tailored Support Services offers NDIS participants short-term accommodation (STA) to help them live more independently. Our STA services are delivered as part of our Supported Independent Living (SIL) program and can be used for a range of purposes, including:
When you first start receiving NDIS supports and are looking for somewhere to live
When you need a break from your usual living situation
When you are transitioning from one living arrangement to another
Our short term accommodation is available for a single day, weekend, a quick holiday or longer stay, depending on the individual’s needs. It is a safe and comfortable place for NDIS participants to stay while they are looking for more permanent accommodation. We also provide support for children in emergency cases. If a child needs to get out of an abusive environment, we are able to house them short-term.

To access NDIS funding for short term accommodation, you must have this listed as a support in your NDIS Plan. If you do not have STA listed as a support, you can speak to your NDIS planner or Local Area Coordinator about adding it to your Plan.
